New Faith Ministries Statement of Faith
We believe the Bible is the infallible Word of God. It is His holy and inspired Word, and that it is of supreme and final authority. We believe in one God, eternally existing in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary. He led a sinless life, took on Himself all our sins, died and rose again, and is seated at the right hand of the Father as our mediator and advocate. We believe that all men everywhere are lost and face the judgment of God and need to come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ through His shed blood on the cross. We believe that Christ rose from the dead and is coming soon.
Roger & Elaine Alford
Roger has been in the ministry for 50 years, of which 42 were in the pastorate. He is now a traveling evangelist, missionary, and conference speaker. He is also fluent in Spanish, training pastors in Mexico, Central and South America. He has authored three books: “Pastoring Isn’t All It’s Cracked Up To Be…It’s More!”; “14 Lessons I Learned Form Heart Surgery”; and “Eyewitness Account Of Miracles On The Mission Field”. These are available in English and Spanish. He has been married to Elaine for 55 years, and they have 3 children and 11 grandkids. Roger is the lead preacher for New Faith Ministries, whenever the team conducts revival meetings.
Tom Hudson
Tom has retired from 42 years in education. He has led various small Bible studies with a strong emphasis in allowing the Holy Spirit to lead and the importance of prayer and lifting one another up for hope and encouragement. Tom pastored a church in McPherson, KS for three years. Tom is in charge of the prayer ministry for the revival meetings. He has three grown children and two grandchildren. He lives in McPherson, KS.
Bruce & Jane Powell
Bruce retired from a successful career in Commercial real estate. He has been in the ministry 30 years. He has been an Associate Pastor in three churches. Also a counselor at the Adult - Teen Challenge Mid America main campus in Cape Girardeau, Mo. For 5 years.Bruce is an evangelist and the outreach director of the New Faith Ministry Team, opening the door to active soul winning in the Church and encouraging the membership to do so as well. The "Lost" are referred to him to visit during revival. Bruce knows no stranger. He is a Pastor to the unchurched, conducting revivals, weddings and funerals. He has been on numerous Mission trips to Mexico, Costa Rica, and Brazil. Bruce and Jane have been married and have ministered together for 15 years. Together they have 4 children and 3 grand children. They reside in Jackson, Missouri.
